The Air Over Utah Says Thanks! In Utah the Energy Star® Homes Program is an integral component of its Resource Efficient Homebuilding Partnership program. Using the Energy Star® Homes Program as our foundation we are working on promoting the construction and certification of energy efficient homes throughout the state of Utah. We are working on providing seminars, conferences, training and consultations on all aspects of this program. As we work to bring this information and resources to fruition, we will list them on this web-site for easy access. Energy efficiency is important to our state. It can help preserve our natural resources, reduce foreign oil imports, save us billions of dollars, clean our air, and protect our planet for future generations. As the EPA Energy Star® Homes program grows and develops more builders and developers are expressing a strong interest in building and designing to these energy efficient standards of construction. One of these developers is Kennecott Land with its Daybreak Development project in the Salt Lake county area. Daybreak homes are all built to the EPA Energy Star® Homes standards. Daybreak homeowners can expect to save nearly a third of their energy bills-around $300 to $500 annually. With Energy Star® qualified homes, residents of Daybreak are sure to enjoy more comfort that they've ever experienced before. Quoting from their web page, "By choosing Daybreak, you are choosing to build energy savings today and a cleaner environment for tomorrow." Visit them on the web at: http//www.kennecottland.com Our message is an easy one.
Each of us can make an enormous difference now and for the future!
